What are some fun wedding / engagement stories have you heard?

My dad told me that when her friend married him and a Women are responsible for all the gifts the couple received a home (or something) Anyway, they were totally interested in what everyone's boyfriend, so that each one carefully unwrapped and looked through them XD As soon as we finished, I carefully re-wrapped gifts. My dad says he still has not said his friend. haha. This was like 30 years ago ... haha. You?

I remember my dad said when he and my mom were married were unwrapping their gifts received. My dad said that when he unwrapped this clock he turned and had cobwebs in the back of it! I guess someone wrapped his watch the wall of his house and gave it to my parents. : D
