What is the best way to store nuts roasted and salted fresh?
I have 25 pounds of salt and roasted chestnuts I got in containers and give Christmas presents. What would be the best way to store them until the week before Christmas, I put them in containers? Ziplock bags? Vacuum sealed? Another way?
I store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. I've heard of people storing nuts in the freezer, I've never done that and do not know if work.
