Invitation of the company - the images are needed, you can not shoot - Options?
What are my options? I design invitations, Children's birthday baby or bridal showers, etc. However, I have never sold anything - I do for friends. I want to start a business, but I can not draw. I see incredible clip art photos of pregnant women and ladybugs, etc .... but you can use to sell commercially. I saw a nice picture in a photo site but it cost me almost $ 200 for an image. They seem to have created the image in Corel Draw 13, 11 and 10 (that means) I can learn to create my own images in Corel Draw - How to draw? What other sites without royalty free clip art can be used in trade? Not knowing that I have other options? All tips (REAL / Bad) is greatly appreciated.
Do some research on the photos public domain clip art. There may be things that you can use, there is little Zazzle and CafePress people make good money out of the field of public art. But make sure you understand what's really in the public domain. A lot of art that is not meant to be. Some types of services to sell printing licenses for less than $ 200. I've seen about $ 50 for some images. If you are starting a business, $ 50 for a good image should be tolerable. Keep in mind that this cost is deductible. Most professional designers use Illustrator, Corel Draw no Photoshop. My opinion is that it takes years to master these programs and education to create good art is a difficult skill that many people never master. Buy and resale of the work of another for $ 50 is relatively cheap and effective.
