Why are men dressed as women taboo?

I read the statistics that up to 30% of men (approximately 1 in 3) have used some kind of feminine clothing at some point. 5-10% do so frequently. Women also often cross-dressing, sometimes even as a trend fashion, the use of neckties, bow ties, men's shirts, men's pants, even underwear. If it is OK for a woman to wear man's clothes, why What is so bad a man is something a woman usually wears?

Well, this is just my opinion, but men are supposed to be masculine. I mean anyone likes to think of a guy walking down the lip gloss and bombs right? I do not think women should "cross-dress" either. Most times I see women ties are leading when his impression of a child. This is not something a guy would use. I guess it's just a nuisance to be in a public place and see someone dressed girl and have to question their gender.
