Question of wedding gift-John Lewis vouchers - How much should I give?
I'm going to the wedding of a friend of mine (known for a decade), this weekend. The invitation had a gift card from the list of John Lewis, but the only gift vouchers are listed. Do not know how much I should give ... no want to come across as cheap, but I've spent a fortune on going to the wedding - hotels, new suit / shirt / shoes and travel ... I was thinking about 40 pounds? Any ideas / Suggetions?
£ 40 is ample. I gave this amount to my friend when she married. After all it's the thought that counts.
