Dad's 50th birthday present. Help!

So, my father turns 50 in a month, and I have to think of something really good for him. He always liked things the house much more than store-bought gifts. He (and I) have a sense of humor. There are things like writing his eulogy classics, but I know you're all fabulously creative people can think of something really big, so if you please, help me!
