Textiles model Q: Im trying to make a dress for Marilyn Monroe Happy Birthday to a Barbie doll, I need help?

Im trying to do some kind of doll dressed as Marilyn Monroe's famous happy birthday. Ive tried to cut a paper pattern and place in the body of the wrist. This is the last body, so it is much more curvilinear. I had a good cut output. I, the plot on a piece of cloth cut and tested on the wrist, but everything went wrong. Anyone know where Im going wrong?

This would be perfect!
