Sewing Machine ideas?

Order this time because I really did not last. Long story short I broke her sewing friends (bad, can not be fixed) and the need to replace, but she told me not to buy it because it was very basic anyway and you buy a new one before I broke ... Buuuuuttttt none of us had any experience with sewing machines. the one I broke was a gift I had as a child. So yes, okay. Listen to the 2 answers above! Whatever you do, do not get it from Argos or any other store catalog of types, which are cheaply made, mass produced garbage plastic! If it breaks (after several uses it) can not get a refund or fixed. Go to a dealer's reputation or other person suggested, give the money to buy one can prove itself first. You can buy a new Janome from £ 89, which will outlast any brand catalog.
