Baby shower gift?

a colleague / friend has a baby shower and the theme for the baby Winnie the Pooh. I'm steering clear everything around the world could buy it locally (Wal-Mart, Target, Babies R Us, etc etc) and am having luck finding gifts unique baby friendly and kind ... WTP any suggestions / Sites / ideas ..... for the actual baby shower cookies do in a theme designed adorable baby .. but something to offer as a gift for the baby ... I'm very creative mind and even not to do something, but I do sewing or knitting (I know I'm too big, probably a deal of this, but thought to throw a question to see if anyone could help:) Thanks
