gifts sister-in-law

My sister-in-law gifts ordered online and my brother is reading your message to see what it does?.
He asked not to say and I said no, but the more I thought, does not seem right. It's like a kid at Christmas. So I said that looking emails. This is a suite of e-mail and I told him to send a private email if ordered online orders. It was wrong of me to say? I'm sure my brother will be mad.
Is this really a big problem for you and them? laugh a little!
