gifts ideas for her

My mother-in-law NEVER likes her gifts? Any ideas?

I gave up on clothing and she had a couple strokes so she can't get around without a walker now so she doesn't cook anymore. She doesn't like going out to eat or leaving the house too much so gift cards are a bad idea. I'm thinking of putting a photo album together for her of our family but I have no pics of her and the kids to put in it. What else could I give her that she might enjoy?

Hm…when I read this I think of my grandma so I’ll give gift suggestions based on what my grandma and even what my own mother-in-law would like:

-Lotions, Powder, Toner, etc.
-DVD sets of shows or movies? – (does she watch TV?)
-Digital Picture Frames? If you don’t have pictures…try to take some now or include your digital family pictures and put them in for now. At least she can look at those..You can always add to it later via memory card. Or even take the pictures when you visit her, after she opens her gift, load ‘em in from your camera afterwards.
-Actually, if you want to go with your idea…start taking pictures now and get them printed out.
-Books? Magazines? Does she read?
-Everybody has an interest. What are her hobbies and work from there.
-If she doesn’t cook what does she eat? Can you make it for her?
-Portable heater (it’s winter time and my grandma was complaining about coldness…) space heater, etc.
-A nice blanket? Bedding? Electric blankets?
-MP3 / DVD players?
-Give her a cellphone? Or pay for her cellphone service?
-Plastic/Rubber containers for easy storage? Jars?
-Household things vaccum, hamper, microwave? You know those round vacuum cleaners that clean by themselves? Like Brookstone stuff or was that Sharper Image?
-Does she like plants?
-Premium teas (delicious) like those from Teavana or any premium drinks that she loves? Premium coffee, etc.
-A large, warm coat (I know she doesn’t go out often, but if she does go out…) or even a hat.
-Have you considered shoes? Specialized shoes?
-Jewelry? Crystals? Hehe.
-A slot machine hehee..(I’m really daydreaming now…)
-Wii system (hehe…?)
-Does she like any games? Board games? Or Mahjong…hehe.
-How about pooling in with other family members on a gift? Some people do that and that alleviates stress.
-Electric toothbrush?
-Nice comfy towels? Rugs?
-Offer her services instead of gifts?
-This may or may not be a good idea -- Pets?
-A massage chair…….yea…my dream gift. You didn’t set a dollar limit so…

I guess I can go on if I think long and hard enough…
If you go to any store that sells home or craft products, I'm guessing you'd get an idea or two.
