How can I use the traditional Korean clothing?

My son received a traditional Korean dress as a gift for his first birthday. It's beautiful, but I'm not sure how to use. There is a broad, long-sleeved top, but no belt or buttons to close it. There vest, also without belt or buttons. (There is also a hat and a pair of pants too, which of course I know how to use!) When I looked up photos online, it appears that most facilities have a belt to tie the shirt together ... Without it, how to keep the show Jersey? Koreans often use below this suit? In addition, the vest does not go outside the shirt? Thank you!
